Origin: Kenya

Macadamias are originally from Australia and are some of the most sought-after nuts in the world. Introduced in Hawaii in 1881 and soon afterward in Africa, California, and Florida, Hawaii is now the world’s largest exporter.

Production: 
being hard-shelled, the macadamia nut is usually sold shelled, and consumed either roasted or raw. Our Macadamia nuts are raw.

Qualities: 
Macadamias are highly nutritious nuts. Although high in fat, 80% of the fat is monounsaturated, they also are a good source of iron, calcium, phosphorus, niacin, and vitamin B1 (thiamine), and protein (9 percent), and a source of carbohydrate (9%), dietary fiber (2%), potassium, sodium, selenium, and riboflavin.
